CTOnews.com obtained from Yantai Radio and Television that Dolphin 1 was independently developed by the research team of the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering of Harbin Engineering University, with a total length of 25 meters and a displacement of 100 tons, which took three years to build.

It is understood that the ship is equipped with China's first set of panoramic 128-line / 2-nautical mile lidar newly developed by the Kazakh engineering research team, 360-degree panoramic infrared vision system, 360-degree high-line-of-sight panoramic visible vision system, sound signal independent recognition and other intelligent sensing equipment, which can accurately detect tiny targets 0.5 meters above the water surface within 2 nautical miles.

Dolphin 1 is equipped with the first set of ship digital twin system in China, which establishes ship digital twin technology system for the first time, such as ship digital modeling, model iterative evolution, virtual real-time interaction, online off-line symbiosis, ship-shore mirror image, etc., which can be operated remotely, and can realize unmanned autonomous navigation.
