After successful launch, it will become the first liquid oxygen methane rocket in the world to successfully put into orbit.

Vermilion Bird-2 carrier rocket is a liquid oxygen methane rocket, which is a new type of dual cryogenic liquid fuel carrier rocket independently developed by Blue Arrow Aerospace. It is also the only liquid rocket in China's commercial rocket field to carry out flight verification through the self-developed full-arrow power system.

According to Blue Arrow, the Vermilion Bird-2 carrier rocket arrived at the Jiuquan rocket launch site on May 12, while the company announced in early June that it would start the final assembly of the Vermilion Bird-2 remote-3 rocket.

This launch mission will verify the ability of Vermilion Bird II liquid carrier rocket to develop independently in the whole system and challenge the outstanding goal of the world's first liquid oxygen methane rocket into orbit, which is of milestone significance.

The first stage of the rocket uses four "Tianque" 80-ton liquid oxygen methane engines in parallel; the rocket second-stage engine uses a single "Tianque" 80-ton liquid oxygen methane engine and "Tianque" 10-ton swimming liquid oxygen methane engine, and the configuration of the main engine is the same as that of the first-class engine. The rocket stages are separated by cold separation, and the fairing is separated by spinning separation.
