According to reports, the test train ran at a top speed of 453km / h in a single train and a maximum speed of 891km / h in two-way relative rendezvous on June 28 on the Meizhou Bay Bridge on the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway; on June 29th, it ran at a top speed of 420km / h in a single train and 840km / h in two-way relative rendezvous. The performance of various indicators of new technical components was good, which marked the phased achievements in the development of CR450 EMU.

The tentative model of the CRRC long passenger model is CR400BF-J. As a new technology verification platform for high-speed EMU, the two trains participate in the preliminary test of the development of the "CR450 Science and Technology Innovation Project" EMU.
