As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Nvidia RTX 4060 series graphics cards are connected by PCIe 4.0 * 8, so the remaining PCIe channels can be left to SSD.

As shown in the image above, Asustek makes the PCIe 4.0M.2 slot on the back of the video card, close to the heat sink of the video card, so as to achieve better heat dissipation.

According to reports, this design not only makes use of the remaining PCIe channels, but also makes it easier for users to install SSD in the chassis.

In terms of performance, because of the SSD through CPU on the graphics card, the SSD installed in this way will also have better performance than through the chipset connection.

At present, Asustek has not announced the mass production plan of this series of graphics cards.
