CTOnews.com obtained from the new standard, according to the prescribed method of testing, when the charger charges the battery in the high-voltage charging area, the duration should not exceed 180min (3 hours), the charger should automatically move to the next charging stage (state), or cut off the output current. When the charger enters the trickle charging stage and lasts no more than 180min (3 hours), the output current should be cut off automatically.

The new standard stipulates that the specification should be provided with the charger to ensure that the charger can be used safely and should also include the following:

Specify the battery type, specification, voltage level, etc., that the charger can charge.

Indicate that the battery should be placed in a well-ventilated place during charging of the charger.

For Ⅰ type chargers, indicate that the charger is only allowed to be plugged into grounded sockets

For automatic chargers, describe the automatic features and indicate any restrictions

If it is necessary to take preventive measures during the user's maintenance, the corresponding detailed instructions should be given.

The charger is not intended to be used by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disability or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or guided by a person responsible for their safety.

You should take good care of children and make sure they don't play with this charger.

Disconnect the power supply before turning on or disconnecting the charger from the battery

Appliances intended to be used at an altitude higher than 200 m should be declared as to the maximum altitude at which they are used.

Lead-acid battery charger, the output interface should be designed as a plug, plug form as shown in figure 1, the corresponding socket form as shown in figure 2.
