CTOnews.com Note: 5G message is an upgrade of SMS service, which is based on GSMA RCS Universal Profile. It can be sent faster and longer than MMS, and can even be used for payment. Users can complete one-stop business such as service search, discovery, interaction, payment and so on in the message window.

As early as the end of 2021, China Mobile completed the 5G messaging network pilot and launched the corresponding App. In July 2022, China Mobile launched the "5G message Wechat one-click Migration" function on China Mobile's 5G messaging platform. Merchants configure message cards through the 5G messaging platform to send rich media messages to C-end users. Merchants only need to obtain authorization from their official Wechat account and start using it after the binding of the 5G messaging platform is completed.

5G messages support sending text, pictures, audio and video, geographic location and other messages, and can also interact with merchants' chatbots.
