Through L-band maritime satellite and S-band Tiantong satellite, V8821 can be extended to support access to other high-orbit satellite systems, which is suitable for communication needs in areas where cellular networks are difficult to cover, such as ocean, urban edge, remote mountains and so on.

CTOnews.com Note: the L band refers to the electromagnetic band in the frequency range of 1GHz~2GHz, and the S band refers to the electromagnetic band in the frequency range of 2GHz~4GHz, which is widely used in satellite communications and ground cellular communications.

Currently, Ziguang Zhanrui has completed 5G NTN (non-terrestrial network, non-terrestrial network) data transmission, short message, call, location sharing and other functions and performance tests with China Telecom, China Mobile, ZTE, vivo, Mobile Communications, Shide Technology, Pengxian Wuyu, Bai Caibang, etc., based on V8821.

Ziguang Zhanrui said that V8821 supports TCP / IP protocol, is suitable for a variety of upper-layer services, and inherits the common Internet of things protocol; in terms of hardware configuration, V8821 can support customers to reuse hardware resources in the original scheme, thus improving deployment efficiency and avoiding problems such as high hardware cost and time-consuming.

In addition, Ziguang Zhanrui announced the launch of the world's first new 5G call chip solution, which has completed R17 RedCap key technology laboratory verification and outfield performance testing under the guidance of the IMT-2020 propulsion group. At present, Ziguang Zhanrui is actively laying out and developing commercial 5G R17 RedCap products.
