Chevrolet Trail Blazers EV initially debuted at CES in 2022 and plans to launch deliveries in the U. S. market this summer. The new car will launch four civilian-oriented configurations with a price range of $44995 to $65995 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 326-478000), offering a variety of transmission systems such as front drive, rear drive and all-wheel drive.

In terms of specific models, the entire trailblazer EV family includes the 1LT, 2LT, RS and Chevrolet's first ever electric SS performance model, as well as a SS-based police pursuit vehicle (PPV) for police fleets.

Considering that the fuel version of the Trailblazer model is already on sale in the Chinese market, the possibility that the car will be introduced into China in the future cannot be ruled out.

Like other current GM brand pure electric new cars, Chevrolet trailblazer EV is also based on GM's pure electric platform Ultium platform. The appearance of the new car uses a new family design, which is very different from the current fuel version of the Trail Blazers. The new car has a closed front face and a two-color body, the overall posture is similar to that of a crossover, and the charging port is placed on the left front fender.

As for the interior, the Trail Blazer EV has a soft-touch cockpit and an air-conditioning vent inspired by a turbine engine with a 17.7inch central screen and an 11-inch dashboard. The RS and SS models are also equipped with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, front seat heating and ventilation, and atmosphere lighting.

On the power side, all Trail Blazers EV models offer independent front and rear suspensions to achieve "excellent ride comfort and responsiveness", although specific power parameters have not yet been released. The top-equipped Chevrolet Trail Blazer SS uses all-wheel drive with a maximum power of 557 horsepower (415kW) and a peak torque of 877Nm, as well as the unique WOW (Wide Open Watts) model, which accelerates in less than 4 seconds from 0 to 60 mph (almost zero acceleration) and will be equipped with a high-performance front Brembo braking system.
