Meta recently announced that it will launch a series of new initiatives to enable users to better understand and control what they see on Facebook and Instagram.

Specifically, Meta has released 22 different instruction cards that explain to users how the company uses AI to control part of the display of Instagram and Facebook, such as the "Discovery" page and advice to follow users. Meta also said it will expand the explanation to include functions such as "Why did I read this article" in the coming weeks.

In addition, Meta provides a feature that allows users to centrally control what they want to view on Facebook and Instagram. Instagram has previously supported selecting "not interested" for certain posts to add content recommendations that are not similar to it, but now users will soon be able to choose "interested" to view certain types of content, and Meta will provide more choices in the future.
