At present, more than 40 operators around the world have chosen Huawei's container storage solution.

Secondly, generative AI has entered the application scenarios of operators such as network operation, intelligent customer service and ToB industry model, bringing about new changes in data paradigm and storage architecture. Operators are faced with challenges such as exponential growth of parameters and training data, long data preprocessing cycle and unstable training process during large model training. Huawei's generative AI storage solution uses checkpoint (Checkpoint) efficient backup and recovery, training data processing, vectorized indexing and other technologies to improve the efficiency of training preprocessing and support trillions of parameters large model training.

Break through data gravity through data weaving for new data

First of all, in order to cope with the surge of massive data, the cloud data center mainly uses the server integration architecture of coupling application and local disk to build storage, which brings some problems, such as waste of resources, lack of performance and reliability, limited elastic expansion and so on. Tianyi Cloud and Huawei jointly innovated, introducing OceanDisk smart disk frames to support its video, development and testing, AI computing and other businesses, reducing data center cabinet space and energy consumption by 40%.

Secondly, the growth of data scale brings serious data gravity problems, so it is necessary to build intelligent data weaving capabilities to achieve a global unified data view and scheduling across systems, regions and clouds. In China Mobile, Huawei uses GFS (Global File System) to help customers improve data scheduling efficiency by three times and better support data value mining for upper-layer applications.

Data security threats are changing from physical damage to man-made attacks, and the traditional data security system is difficult to meet the latest data security requirements. Huawei provides storage anti-extortion solutions to build the last line of defense of data security through multi-layer protection and storage endogenous security capabilities. At present, more than 50 strategic customers around the world have chosen Huawei's storage anti-blackmail solution.
