The UK, which had been in third place, was overtaken by Singapore for the first time this year. Singapore ranked No. 14 in 2020 and rose to No. 6 in 2021, and its AI is growing rapidly. The fact that Singapore, Israel and Switzerland are in the top 10 with relatively small populations and economies also reflects the relatively higher "intensity" of their AI capabilities, Tortoise Media said. On the whole, the United States and China maintain the leading position of AI technology, while Europe obviously lags behind.
