Ultra-wideband is the best choice to reduce energy consumption in multi-frequency networks.
Huawei UWB solution achieves multi-frequency integration in full-band and full-scene, reducing energy consumption. In the frequency band, Huawei first proposed the industry's lowest energy consumption FDD 4T4R RRU, which achieves three-band integration through the innovation of ultra-wideband radio frequency and power amplifier technology algorithms, satisfying the full-band and full-system minimalist deployment, while reducing energy consumption by more than 20% compared with the industry. At present, UWB 4T4R RRU has been commercialized on a global scale, with a shipment volume of more than 100,000 pieces. In Europe, energy consumption has been reduced by 30% after the single station has been upgraded from 4 to 6 frequencies. At the same time, UWB has expanded from FDD to TDD. The industry's largest bandwidth 800MHz MetaAAU can cover the full bandwidth of C-band, and the power consumption is 20% lower than that of 2 400MHz independent modules.
In the scenario, UWB extends from macro station to microwave and DIS, microwave new 2T ODU,800MHz bandwidth achieves more carrier aggregation, and power consumption is reduced by 50% compared with the industry. Multi-antenna is the best way to improve bit energy efficiency.
First of all, Huawei TDD M-MIMO, through multi-antenna and large-bandwidth technology, can improve 20 times the energy efficiency compared to 4T4R. In the high-traffic area of commercial networks in the Middle East, TDD 64T64R M-MIMO has achieved more than 10 times bit energy efficiency through multi-stream pairing technology. With the increase of traffic in the future, the number of traffic continues to increase, which can further improve 20-bit energy efficiency.
Secondly, Huawei FDD multi-antenna technology is also in the leading level in the industry. In Europe, equipped with intelligent beamforming algorithm, FDD 8T8R, which has the strongest performance in the industry, has achieved 1.5 times energy efficiency improvement compared with traditional 4T4R. At the same time, FDD M-MIMO, the only large-scale commercial in the industry, has realized a 3x improvement in energy efficiency. Maximize the passive capability and open a new green track
Huawei's unique advanced antenna technology, SDIF (signal straight-through feed technology), realizes "zero cable, zero loss". Through the joint innovation of software and hardware algorithms, Huawei has fully realized the device-level "0 bit 0 watt".
Huawei has achieved the extreme dormancy of the first 99% shutdown depth of the business, so that the power consumption of the device is less than 5W. In addition, with innovative on-demand wake-up algorithms, Huawei can wake up devices at any time while ensuring user experience. Due to the differences in traffic flow, energy-saving characteristics, energy efficiency of frequency bands and equipment, as well as the coverage between frequency bands, Huawei proposes an intelligent iPowerStar solution, which can realize intelligent energy-saving strategy arrangement according to the actual network traffic characteristics, energy-saving characteristics, energy efficiency grid and experience grid, so as to achieve the next station of multi-frequency network and maximize the energy efficiency of the whole network. During the May Day period in Hebei Province, China, after the opening of iPowerStar, the energy consumption of the whole network was reduced by 19%, the telephone traffic increased by 19%, and the energy efficiency of the whole network increased by 45%.
