CTOnews.com June 29 news, Microsoft announced in February this year after the official announcement, in today's press release, officially announced that the Yammer.com website has been renamed Viva Engage.

Microsoft said in a blog post that all Yammer-branded apps and services, including Yammer SharePoint webpart, Yammer Embed, Outlook Notification and Yammer mobile apps, have been renamed Viva Engage.

Microsoft said in a blog post that it will not adjust its existing Yammer URL and API until the end of 2023. The user now accesses Yammer URL and automatically jumps to the new Viva Engage address.

Launched in 2008 as a start-up, Yammer provides corporate customers with a different way to create internal social networks for their employees. Microsoft bought Yammer in 2012 for $1.2 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 8.688 billion yuan).
