According to reports, based on Fudan University's accumulation in basic disciplines and Alibaba's platform and computing ability in the field of large model computing, the two sides will carry out innovative practice of scientific research integration and jointly build a future-oriented fusion and innovative computing platform.

The two sides will also share the underlying capabilities of large models, explore the core technical capabilities of AI for Science in life science, material science, atmospheric science and other scientific research fields, and carry out model cooperation, data cooperation and joint research.

In addition, focusing on the scientific research achievements, innovative applications and cooperation model experience of cooperation on AI for Science, the two sides will hold summits, discussions and exchange activities, jointly write white papers, and issue special research topics to the academic and business circles.

In terms of personnel training, Alibaba will jointly carry out multi-disciplinary personnel training with Fudan University, support Fudan University in training the application capabilities of the AI for Science fusion innovation computing platform, and at the same time carry out industrial exchanges and training for young scholars and researchers, achieve industry-university-research cooperation, and deepen cooperation between the two sides in student internship and employment.

The two sides will also strengthen scientific research cooperation and academic exchanges in computing technology, security technology and other fields. In the future, Alibaba will also provide Fudan University with green and low-carbon intelligent logistics and other solutions to speed up the construction of an intelligent campus.

CFFF (Computing for the Future at Fudan), the largest cloud research intelligence platform for domestic universities jointly built by both sides, was officially launched at Fudan University yesterday.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, since the ChatGPT explosion, major technology companies have rushed to launch related competitive products. Fudan University launched China's first large-scale conversational language model MOSS in February this year.
