Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues on the way! CTOnews.com, June 28 (Xinhua) Tesla's fully autonomous driving (FSD) software seems to be coming to an end. According to a recent tweet from company CEO Elon Musk, FSD V12 will no longer be a "Beta" when it is released.

Musk made the comment in response to a joke from a long-time FSD beta user who joked that FSD Beta 12 might not be available until "later this year." In response, Musk simply wrote: "the V12 version will not be a beta."

The FSD beta project was launched in October 2020 and has been continuously updated since then. With the launch of FSD Beta V11, Tesla's FSD has been suitable for urban and highway driving. So far, V11 has released several updates.

Although Elon Musk's statement is undoubtedly exciting, Musk may only mean that Tesla will give up the "beta" name of the FSD suite. After all, Tesla's Autopilot is also a product that is still in testing, but it is not called "Autopilot beta".

Tesla has been working to improve the FSD beta, and with the Dojo supercomputer expected to start production in July, the system is likely to be significantly improved in the near future.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Musk, who attended the Viva Technology conference on innovation and entrepreneurship in Paris, France, on June 16, said Tesla was close to achieving fully self-driving cars and that self-driving was the "main driver" of the brand's market capitalization.
