CTOnews.com, June 28 (Xinhua)-- Astropad announced the launch of a new Darkboard graphics accessory designed for Apple's iPad, priced at $120. (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 869 yuan).

The accessory, called Darkboard, claims to provide an ergonomic way to sketch and paint. The Darkboard is made of rigid foam and weighs 1.4lb (about 635.6 grams). The foam design provides cushioning and support for the arms and wrists.

According to Astropad, Darkboard is ideal for use on sofas, beds and other ergonomic situations where ideal ergonomics cannot be achieved.

In addition, the accessory has a small bracket at the back to secure the iPad at any angle, so the Darkboard can be used in multiple directions.

In terms of details, there is a 1mm space between the iPad display and the edge of the foam to ensure that the iPad will not be broken.

The Darkboard is available in two sizes, one for the third-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro or later, and the other for 11-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air, which can be purchased from the Astropad website for $120 (currently about 869 yuan).
