CTOnews.com, June 28, Apple's share price has bucked the trend and set a new closing record. Today, Apple shares opened at $185.89, peaked at $188.39 and closed at $188.06, meaning Apple's market capitalization has reached $2.958 trillion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 21.42 trillion yuan).

Apple came close to becoming the first company with a market capitalization of more than $3 trillion in January 2022, but the peak did not last until the close. Apple's market capitalization shrank by $1 trillion at the end of last year as a shortage of iPhone affected sales. Although Apple's share price broke through the $3 trillion mark last year, Apple has yet to close with a market capitalization of $3 trillion.

Despite a major setback at the end of last year, Apple is expected to close with a market capitalization of $3 trillion in the near future. At present, Apple is still the most valuable company on Wall Street.

On the product side, Apple plans to launch four new iPhone models this fall, all of which will use the USB-C interface. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will inherit the Smart Island design introduced by iPhone 14 Pro, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to be the first iPhone with a periscope lens system to provide better optical zoom. In addition, Apple's new augmented reality product, the Apple Vision Pro, will be available in the United States in early 2024 for $3499.
