CTOnews.com, June 26, according to the latest changes in the ID list of PCI devices, NVIDIA may introduce a new H100 Hopper data center accelerator card in the near future.

It is said that a new H100 based on the SXM5 specification is under development, with 94GB and 64GB storage, respectively. This indicates that Nvidia is considering HBM memory, which means that the new card may be designed with HBM3 (CTOnews.com Note: 80GB SXM5 H100 is HBM3).

In fact, this is not the first H100 card with 94GB memory. Nvidia has previously launched the H100 NVL (for large language models).

However, NVIDIA does not explain how 94GB memory is implemented, but this is probably due to HBM production and yield reasons that block some modules, while the 64GB model probably uses four or more 16GB HBM chips.

It is worth mentioning that the H100 also seems to have a higher 120GB model, but so far there has been no official confirmation, and there is even no driver PCI ID leak to confirm this version.
