Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues from rain and snow and Daniel Wu in South China! CTOnews.com, June 26 (Xinhua) Blizzard Entertainment's Battle.net online service was attacked by a distributed denial of service (DDoS) on Sunday, resulting in players being unable to log in to the game or interrupting the game, including Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft.

When Battle.net is launched on PC, a notification appears: "We are currently under DDoS attack, which can cause high game latency and disconnection. We are working to mitigate the impact of this attack." Officials also confirmed the news on Twitter.

It is reported that the attack began in the early hours of Sunday and lasted several hours. Some players reported that they would not be able to play games such as Diablo 4 for at least 10 to 12 hours, prompting some suggestions as to whether Blizzard should add offline mode to Diablo IV.

As of 01:18 EDT, Blizzard said the DDoS attack it encountered earlier in the day was over. However, according to some Tieba users' reaction, there will now be a "problem verifying your account (code 75)" after logging in to the game, and it seems that the login problem has not been completely fixed.

As of CTOnews.com, Blizzard has not disclosed the source or motive of the attack.

It is worth mentioning that Blizzard customer support officially announced that routine maintenance of Blizzard games will be carried out this week. The currently hot Diablo 4 will be maintained from 9: 00 a.m. to 2: 00 p.m. Pacific time on June 26 (0: 00 p.m. to 5: 00 p.m. on June 27, Beijing time). This maintenance is downtime maintenance, during which players cannot log in to the game.
