JD.com Logistics's first-quarter performance report showed that the company's revenue in a single quarter was 36.73 billion yuan, an increase of 34.3% over the same period last year. Of this total, the income of external customers was 25.52 billion yuan, an increase of 60% over the same period last year, with external customers accounting for 70% of the total.

Hu Wei, 40, is responsible for the overall strategic planning and business direction of JD.com Logistics.

Hu Wei joined JD.com, Inc in January 2010. And its subsidiaries and associated consolidated entities ("JD.com Group"), and served as the CEO of JD.com Intelligent production and Development Co., Ltd from April 2019 to June 2023.

Hu Wei has held a number of positions with JD.com Group and JD.com Logistics Group, including General Manager of North China region of JD.com Logistics Group from December 2017 to March 2019, General Manager of Logistics Department of JD.com Group from May 2015 to November 2017, and Director of Human Resources Department of Logistics Department of JD.com Group from January 2010 to April 2015.

Hu Wei has been a director of China Logistics assets Holdings Limited ("China Logistics assets") since February 2022 and served as chairman, executive director and CEO of China Logistics assets from February to July 2022. In addition, Hu Wei served as a non-executive director of ESR Group Limited (Stock Code: 1821) from February 2021 to June 2023.

Prior to joining JD.com Group, Hu Wei served as the Human Resources Manager of Chengdu Renle Commercial Co., Ltd from November 2006 to January 2010.

Hu Wei received a bachelor's degree in land resource management education from Sichuan Agricultural University in June 2005 and a master's degree in business administration from China Europe International Business School in November 2022.
