CTOnews.com reported on June 25 that retail sales of narrow passenger cars were estimated to be 1.83 million, an increase of 5.2% from the previous month and a decrease of 5.9% from the same period last year, of which new energy retail was about 670000, an increase of 15.5% from the previous month, an increase of 26.0% over the same period last year, and a penetration rate of about 36.6%.

CTOnews.com obtained from the official account that retail sales of major manufacturers averaged 31100 vehicles a day in the first week of June, down 42 percent from the previous week, 42900 vehicles a day in the second week, down 14 percent from the previous week, and 57500 daily retail vehicles in the third week, an increase of 21 percent over the previous month. Retail sales in the fourth week are expected to be 62000, up 26 percent from the previous month; and retail sales in the fifth week are expected to be 113700, an increase of 32 percent.

For comparison, retail sales of narrow passenger cars completed 1.742 million vehicles in May, an increase of 28.6 percent over the same period last year and 7.3 percent from the previous year, of which 580000 were new energy vehicles, up 60.9 percent from the same period last year, with a penetration rate of 33.3 percent.

It is worth mentioning that in terms of OTA, the industry updated a total of 279 features in May. New Power has a total of 144 updates, of which ideal, Zero run and High Speed all push large version upgrades; only Buick and Toyota push OTA upgrades for joint venture brands.
