GPT-4 tested eight times with ChatGPT using two variants of TTCT, the gold standard for researchers to assess creativity.

Using TTCT, researchers asked GPT-4 to demonstrate its creativity by asking questions, guessing reasons, considering potential consequences, generating ideas for product improvement, imagining new alternative uses for existing products, and imagining future scenarios.

Scholastic Testing Services, a third-party evaluation agency at TTCT, compared the responses of artificial intelligence with those of humans.

In all eight tests, GPT-4 scored in the top 1% of all human responses in terms of fluency, showing a large number of responses to each activity.

In terms of flexibility, that is, the ability to generate ideas and move from one method to another, three tests scored in the top 1%, two in the top 2%, and the other three in the top 7%.

In Dr Guzik's view, the most important thing in the score is originality.

In all eight tests, GPT-4 scored in the top 1% in terms of originality, that is, the ability to produce unusual or unique responses, that is, the ability to exceed the norm.

The team predicts that over the next five years, every component of the entrepreneurial process, as well as business in general, will be affected by artificial intelligence.

The team's findings, including further research on training GPT-4 to improve its creativity in specific areas such as business innovation and entrepreneurship, are scheduled to be published later this summer.
