In addition, two new Mingjue models will also debut together. One of the mysterious new cars is code-named "EX4", while the other is not yet disclosed, and Motor1 reported that the car "will go on sale later this summer."

Guy Pigounakis, commercial director of Mingjue, said: "Cyberster marks the resumption of the long-awaited sports car production process of the Mingjue brand, and we will show what the exciting future will look like with this high-performance electric car. We plan to launch two more new cars, as evidenced by Mingjue's hope to create attractive and exciting electric cars."

CTOnews.com previously reported that SAIC Mingjue Cyberster had been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in April 2023 with a size of 4535 × 1913 × 1329mm and wheelbase 2690mm. The new car provides rear-drive and four-wheel-drive versions, the maximum power of rear-drive models is 231kW, and the comprehensive power of all-wheel-drive models can reach 400kW.

The MG Cyberster features a two-door, two-seat soft-top convertible and will be equipped with a scissors door. The new car is expected to make its domestic debut in July this year and launch in the domestic market in the third quarter and in the European market in 2024.
