CTOnews.com, June 25 (Xinhua)-- the source Roland Quandt recently shared the price of Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones in the European market at 319.99 euros (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2502 yuan), 15 percent more than the previous generation.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Sony WF-1000XM5 's single headset weighs 5.9g, 1.4g lighter and 20 per cent lighter than its predecessor.

Although Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones lose weight, they are equipped with an 8.4mm drive unit, Dynamic Driver X, which is 40 per cent larger than the previous generation.

Sony says the new driver unit in the WF-1000XM5 provides "richer human voices" and better sound detail output, as well as support for HiRes Audio and DSEE Extreme.

At present, the new retail price of Sony WF-1000XM4 headphones is less than 190 euros, about 1/3 less than the recommended retail price.

Sony WF-1000XM4 headphones are currently available in black and platinum silver on JD.com and are priced at 1299 yuan.
