CTOnews.com June 24, developers dig deep into visionOS 1 Beta updates and find that by creating controls and screens, any surface can be turned into a screen that supports touch operations.

Developer Steve Troughton Smith says that by selecting a surface in the head view, you can place any application and allow users to interact visually.

CTOnews.com inquired about the relevant information and found that Apple applied for a patent as early as 2020. "the best way for humans to interact with real objects is to touch them with their hands," the patent said. "the [screen] that allows the detection and location of its surface touch is often called a touch screen."

Troughton Smith experimented with Apple Music applications and found that it was possible to run the application as well as related controls.
