CTOnews.com, June 24 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- Microsoft announced that it will shut down two game servers, Ultimate Speed: horizon 1 and Horizon 2, on August 23 this year, meaning that Xbox 360 and Xbox One players will lose their online features two months later.

According to the official press release released by Turn 10 Studios, the main reason for shutting down the server is the sharp decline in the number of players, which can release and reconfigure server resources to meet the needs of new versions of the game.

CTOnews.com Note: shutting down the online server does not affect the offline play of Ultimate: horizon 1 and Ultimate Horizon 2, and users can continue to play these classic racing games on Xbox 360and Xbox One and Xbox Series S | X.

The game "Ultimate Speed: horizon 1" was launched on the Xbox platform in 2012 and is based on the fictional event Horizon Festival (Horizon Carnival) held in Colorado.

Forza Horizon 2 went on sale in North America on September 30, 2014. The Xbox One version is developed by Playground Games, assisted by Turn 10 Studios, and the Xbox version is developed by Sumo Digital.
