CTOnews.com June 24 news, FTC and Microsoft on Blizzard acquisition case hearing, has entered the second day. Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said he tried to buy Zynga before planning to buy Activision Blizzard.

"We have a lot of respect for Zynga people and what they build, but our vision needs to be supported by a bigger company than Zynga," Spencer said.

CTOnews.com Note: Zynga is a social gaming service provider, founded in April 2007, headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA.

Zynga's games are mostly mobile games for iOS and Android, and web games for many global platforms, including social networking sites such as Facebook, Google+, Tencent and MySpace.

Zynga was acquired by Take-Two in May 2022 for $12.7 billion. Under the terms of the merger agreement, Zynga shareholders receive $3.50 in cash and 0.0406 Take-Two common shares for each share of Zynga common stock.
