The compensation program began in the United States and Canada on June 15 and will continue indefinitely. Customers can receive compensation for multiple problems at the same time, and the company will evaluate the problem in the process of vehicle diagnosis.

Compensation is divided into three categories:

If the vehicle encounters minor problems (which will not affect the use of the vehicle), it will pay a compensation of $100.

$300 will be compensated for problems that make the vehicle inoperable, and road rescue services will be provided.

If the maintenance time is more than three days, the owner of the car will get $100 for each extra day of maintenance.

CTOnews.com officially obtained that VinFast VF8 delivered 100 vehicles to Vietnamese customers in September 2022, and VinFast delivered the first VF8 city version to US customers on March 2, 2023. VinFast said it would deliver a total of 865 VF 8 electric vehicles in the first quarter.

It is understood that the VF8 positioning 5-seat electric SUV, a total of two versions of VF8 Eco and VF8 Plus, of which the Eco version has a range of 260mph (about 418.43 km) and the Plus version has a range of 248mph (about 399.12 km). VF8 Eco is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 260 kW with a maximum torque of 500N ·m, while VF8 Plus is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 300 kW with a maximum torque of 620N ·m.
