According to the news, the GPU used in the RX 7800 XT is neither the "Navi 31" on the RX 7900 series nor the lower "Navi 32," but something in between.

The new GPU has the same 350 mm² graphics compute chip (GCD) as the Navi 31, but in a similar package to the Navi 32, with four MCDs (cache chips), 256-bit wide GDDR6 memory and 64 MB of second-generation unlimited cache. This may be due to cost-saving considerations. In addition, this GPU may become the flagship model of the RX 7900 series on the laptop side.

As CTOnews.com reported earlier, AMD has launched RX 7900 series flagship graphics cards based on NAVI 31 GPU and RX 7600 mainstream graphics cards based on NAVI 33. RX 7900 XTX started at 7999 yuan at the end of last year, which has been as low as 6399 yuan at present. RX 7900 XT started at 7399 yuan at the end of last year and is currently as low as 5499 yuan. RX 7600 starts at 2149 yuan, and the first half month has dropped below 2000 yuan.

AMD has yet to announce the launch date of the RX 7800 XT graphics card.
