CTOnews.com June 23, Activision announced that it will close the "call of Duty ®: war Zone ™Volcano Island" game (Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera) on September 21 in order to focus on the new experience.

Officials say shutting down call of Duty ®: war Zone ™Volcano Island will not affect the play, inventory or player progress of the current war zone games on Al Mazrah or other available maps.

1. Can I still play "War Zone ™Volcano Island"? I can't. "War Zone ™Volcano Island" requires an online connection to the game server to play the game. Once the Battle Zone ™Volcano Island is closed on September 21, 2023, the game server will no longer be available.

two。 What will happen to my progress, inventory and purchases? After the game server is turned off, the game progress and inventory of "War Zone ™Volcano Island" will no longer be accessible. However, any purchased content that can be accessed in call of Duty ®: modern Warfare ®(2019), call of Duty ®: black Action Cold War, or call of Duty ®: vanguard is still available in games under the same account.

3. What happens to my call of Duty points? Call of Duty points will remain on the platform on which they are purchased. Previously purchased call of Duty points can be transferred between call of Duty ®games on the same platform on your associated Activision account.

Please note: you can only spend on platforms where call of Duty points are purchased, but items you purchase using call of Duty points will be shared on all platforms associated with your Activision account.

4. How will the closure of War Zone ™Volcano Island affect other call of Duty games? War Zone and all other call of Duty games are independent experiences that will not be affected by the closure of War Zone ™Volcano Island.

5. What happens if I start the ™Volcano Island in the War Zone after the game is suspended? The game will try to connect to an unavailable game server, so you will receive a connection error.

6. Will ™Volcano Island in the War Zone come back? There are currently no plans to restart the ™Volcano Island in the War Zone after it is closed. In order to free up hard disk space, we recommend that you remove the "War Zone ™Volcano Island" from your console or computer after the game is suspended.
