CTOnews.com, June 23 (Xinhua)-- according to the latest list released by the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has obtained a patent numbered US 20230195237 A1, which demonstrates the interactive experience of using gestures to navigate the user interface.

CTOnews.com quoted the patent as saying that Apple believes that most of the current gesture navigation interfaces are troublesome and inefficient, sometimes requiring multiple clicks, wasting users' time and, more importantly, affecting battery life for mobile devices.

Apple's patent, which covers iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, uses screen generation components and optical sensors to provide users with faster and more efficient gesture navigation methods and interactive experiences, complementing or replacing mainstream gesture navigation user interfaces.

Apple says this approach and interface reduces the cognitive burden on users and produces a more efficient man-machine interface. For battery-powered computing devices, these methods and interfaces can save power and increase battery life.
