CTOnews.com, June 22 (Xinhua) time magazine recently released its third 2023 list of the world's top 100 most influential companies, focusing on the companies and leaders that shape our future.

In 2023, the world's 100 most influential companies adopted two global covers: Kim Kardashian, founder of Skims, and Sam Altman, chief executive of OpenAI.

Time magazine said it solicited nominations from various departments to compile the list and conducted opinion polls of its global contributors and correspondents as well as a network of external experts.

Time editors evaluate based on influence, innovation, ambition and success, says time CEO Jessica Jessica Sibley:

The annual TIME100 list shows that companies can be agents of change. From artificial intelligence to fashion, the list highlights the innovative companies and visionary leaders that are shaping the world.

CTOnews.com attached here are the highlights of the 100 most influential companies in the world in 2023.

A large number of companies in the fields of artificial intelligence and sustainable development have sprung up on this year's list.

More than 12% of the companies on this year's list belong to the AI industry, including OpenAI, Nvidia, Google DeepMind, Hugging Face, Metaphysic, Runway and so on.

This year, more than 15 per cent of companies fall into the sustainability category, including the North Face,ZeroAvia,Regrow Ag and other companies, such as MmurKopaMagic Schneider Electric,Aclima,Albemarle,Land Orange LakesdKayrrosMagna Patagonia.

It is worth noting that 42% of the companies on the list employ less than 500 people, and more than half of the companies have fewer than 1000 employees.

Major technology companies, including Samsung, Google DeepMind, Microsoft, Apple and IBM, are on the list.

In the health industry, Novo Nordisk, Cost Plus Drugs, Virta Health, Maven Clinic and Honeybee Health are all on the list.

In the field of entertainment, TikTok, Disney, Live Nation Entertainment, A24 and other companies are also on the list.

Fashion and retailing, including The North Face,Crocs,Meesho,thredUP,Skims,LVMH,Ganni, are on the list.
