CTOnews.com June 21 news, as the first batch of displays equipped with DP2.1 interface, ROG PG32UQXR will be on the market soon, 32-inch 4K 160Hz Mini LED specification.

CTOnews.com found on ROG's overseas official website that ROG did not specify the DP2.1 interface specification of the display, but the wire was equipped with DP40 specification, that is, 40Gbps half-speed DP2.1. For comparison, DP 1.4 can reach 32.4 Gbps.

ROG marked on the product details page that the display can realize 10bit 4K 160Hz transmission with the aid of DSC display stream compression technology.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Intel's Ruexun A770 graphics card supports 40Gbps's DP2.1 transmission, AMD's latest RX 7900 XT series graphics card supports 54Gbps DP2.1 transmission, and Nvidia's latest RTX 40 graphics card does not support DP2.1.
