Referring to the previous report of CTOnews.com, Hengchi Automobile Tianjin plant resumed full production on May 23.

Liu Yongzhao, president of Hengchi Automobile, said that the company will make every effort to speed up the production and delivery of Hengchi 5, and continue to promote the R & D and production of follow-up models, make the enterprise bigger and stronger, and make due contributions to the economic development of Binhai New area and even Tianjin.

On April 24 this year, Hengchi officially announced that the Tianjin factory had suspended production of Hengchi 5 due to lack of funds. In addition, it is proposed to sell issued shares of two subsidiaries of 47 health space projects, namely Huibao and FlamingAce, to China Evergrande for a consideration of Rmb2.

In August 2020, Evergrande Automobile Group simultaneously released six models of Hengchi in Shanghai and Guangzhou, including Hengchi 1, Hengchi 2, Hengchi 3, Hengchi 4, Hengchi 5, Hengchi 6, covering cars, sedan cars, SUV, MPV, crossover cars and other passenger vehicles. Among them, Hengchi 5 officially came off the line from the Tianjin factory in early 2022, and the other five planned models have not been disclosed. According to the information disclosed by Evergrande, as of April 24, Evergrande has delivered more than 900 Hengchi to customers. In November 2019, Xu Jiayin, chairman of Evergrande Group, said bravely that annual production and sales of more than 1 million vehicles would be achieved by 2025 and more than 5 million by 2035. Evergrande will become the largest and most powerful new energy automobile group in the world.
