The new Escalade IQ trailer shows only a few clips, including a prominent taillight, front LED lights, and animation effects inlaid on the side.

In addition, the trailer also shows 22-inch wheels and Michelin Primacy LTX tires.

The new car has more LED lights on the left and right sides of the front face, similar to the Cadillac Lyriq SUV, with a large closed grille on the front face and a tearful LED headlight set on both sides of the classic shape; the rear part of the car looks very full, with L-shaped through taillights and a larger size spoiler above the rear door.

The trailer briefly says that the Escalade IQ will be "a reinvention of an iconic car".

The Escalade IQ will be built on the Altenon platform and is expected to be driven by dual and triple motors, with a maximum output power in 495kW-750kW and a range of 500km.

In addition, the interior of the new car may adopt the same design elements of LYRIQ, with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a suspended LCD instrument + LCD central control integrated curved screen.

According to reports, GM will build the Escalade IQ at the Detroit-Hamtramke assembly center in Factory Zero, the carmaker's electric vehicle plant, which is currently used to make giant GMC Hummer EV.

GM said in a press release that it had previously invested $2.2 billion (CTOnews.com Note: about 15.752 billion yuan) to renovate and renovate the plant to make it "a starting platform" for the company's electric vehicle strategy.

Unfortunately, GM's electric vehicle strategy no longer includes small electric cars and has even discontinued production of the Bolt EV and the relatively new Bolt EUV. Now, the company is focusing on producing larger electric models and developing its Ultium electric platform.
