Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, June 20, Malwarebytes released a fix announcing that it had fixed a problem that caused Google's Chrome browser to fail to work properly because of a KB5027231 conflict with Win11 system updates.

CTOnews.com previously reported that users who installed Malwarebytes antivirus software were unable to launch Google Chrome browser after installing the KB5027231 update.

Malwarebytes said that after users upgrade this patch, they can continue to protect Chrome browsers on all supported Win11 devices, but the anti-vulnerability code will not apply to all Chrome processes.

Malwarebytes recommends that users receive this fix by upgrading the component version to 1.0.2047 and the software version to 4.5.31.270 as soon as possible.

Malwarebytes automatically deploys the update to the user later. If the user wants to update manually, open Malwarebytes and click Settings > about > check for updates.
