Recently, Xinghe Power Aerospace successfully completed the inter-stage separation test of Zhishen Star-1 launch vehicle. All systems work normally during the test process, and the interstage separation is smooth, which verifies the correctness of the interstage separation scheme and the test is a complete success!

According to reports, the success of this inter-stage separation test marks a solid step forward in the development of Zhishen Star-1. Other large-scale ground tests will be carried out in an orderly manner as planned.

According to public information, the medium and large liquid launch vehicle "Zhishen Star-1" has a total length of 52 meters, a diameter of 3.35 meters, a take-off weight of 257 tons and a low-orbit carrying capacity of 5 tons. Its core power is a "sky" liquid oxygen/kerosene engine with a depth variable thrust capacity of 40%-105%.

"Firmament" engine is the first high-thrust, deep-variable liquid oxygen kerosene engine with pintle injection technology in China. Its multi-reflux vortex cone gas generator, coaxial double-suction turbine pump and multifunctional integrated valve are the first in China.

Xinghe Power Aerospace said that "Zhishen Star 1" adopts technologies such as multiple ignition deceleration, power/control redundancy, online trajectory planning, etc. to realize sub-level autonomous landing recovery and reduce launch cost through sub-level recovery and reuse.

This type of rocket adopts "three flat and one vertical" test launch mode and unmanned launch technology at the front end, reducing the launch preparation time to 15 days.

In addition,"Zhishen Star-1" adopts the modular combination design idea, which can be seamlessly expanded from the current two-stage configuration with take-off mass of 260t to the two-stage semi-bundled configuration with take-off mass of 730t. The first flight of the "Zhishen Star-1" carrier rocket has been steadily advancing.
