CTOnews.com, June 19 (Xinhua) at CVPR 2023, the world's largest computer vision conference held in Vancouver, Canada, yesterday, the LG Institute of artificial Intelligence unveiled the company's first commercial service for generative AI, Captioning AI, providing a more efficient solution for customers who need to manage a large number of images.

▲ source: according to LGLG, Captioning AI is based on zero-time learning technology, which enables AI to use its previously accumulated experience and knowledge to explain objects or scenes it sees for the first time. On average, the service can generate 5 complete descriptive sentences and 10 keywords for a picture in 10 seconds. If the number of images is expanded to 10,000, these tasks will be completed within two days, thus establishing a customized image search and management system in a short time.

LG said Captioning AI was deeply developed by the LG Institute of artificial Intelligence in collaboration with Shutterstock, one of the largest image libraries in the world, which has extensive expertise in image tagging. In addition, the two sides also carried out AI ethical verification such as filtering and filtering of learning data to ensure copyright transparency.

Sezal Amin, chief technology officer of Shutterstock, said: "We are currently further developing this service through an early visit (Early Access) program for 10 customers around the world. This service is intended to help people focus on more important content and creative tasks, rather than repetitive mechanical tasks."
