CTOnews.com, June 17 (Xinhua) Logitech has launched a new M240 mute mouse in India, which is now available on Logitech's Indian website.

The new BWH mouse is about 99x60x39mm in size and weighs about 73.8 g. It comes with three buttons and supports 400-4000 DPI. Users can adjust the specific value in the range of 100 DPI.

The mouse supports Bluetooth to connect devices such as laptops and tablets, and is powered by a No. 5 AA battery. Officials say the battery can last up to 18 months, the wireless transmission distance is about 10 meters, and the plastic part of the mouse is made of recycled plastic to reduce the carbon footprint.

The new mouse uses a compact design, with black, white and rose colors to choose from; officials say using the mouse with a laptop can be 30% faster and 50% more efficient than the touchpad; the mouse supports mute operation and reduces keystroke noise by 90%.

At present, Logitech's new M240 mute mouse has been put on Logitech India's official website, with a price of 1595 Indian rupees (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 138.9245 yuan).
