CTOnews.com June 16, according to overseas media Benzinga reports, Mercedes-Benz is considering adopting Tesla's North American charging Standard (NACS), sources said Mercedes-Benz is evaluating "technology implementation" based on NACS connectors.

CTOnews.com noted that as early as January this year, Mercedes-Benz announced that it would build a global fast charging network covering North America, China, Europe and other major markets, and hoped to deploy more than 10000 charging posts in major global markets by 2027 and fully electrify them in markets where conditions permit by 2030.

The NACS doesn't help cars recharge faster, but with this interface, cars are likely to recharge in more places, perhaps making it easier to travel long distances.
