According to officials, the total investment of the project is about 45.2 billion yuan, and the annual output value is expected to be about 120 billion yuan after it is put into production. The project covers an area of 3081 mu and is currently the largest photovoltaic production base with the highest production capacity and the most advanced technology in the world. when completed, it will lead to 15000 jobs.

CCTV also mentioned that the single crystal battery producing 50GW this year can generate about 1330 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, reduce the consumption of 48 million tons of standard coal, and thus reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 103 million tons, equivalent to an increase of 4.22 million mu of afforestation.

The first line of production is expected to be put into production in the third quarter of 2024 and reach production by the end of 2025.

After the landing of the project, it will promote a large number of upstream and downstream supporting manufacturers to gather in Xi'an, making Xixian New area the largest photovoltaic industry R & D and manufacturing base in the country.
