CTOnews.com, June 15 (Xinhua)-- Apple announced last week that when it released an update to Beta 1, a developer preview version of iOS 17, it announced that the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X models would not be upgraded.

According to the latest report released by second-hand recycler SellCell, this paper analyzes the data from more than 40 repurchase suppliers and studies the impact of the release of iOS 16 system on the prices of iPhone 6S and 7 models in 2022. The report points out that after the release of WWDC 2022, the iPhone 6S Plus dropped 11.7% in trade-in prices, and the iPhone 7 Plus dropped 10.1%.

With the official launch of Apple's iPhone 14 and iOS at 16:00, the value of the iPhone 7 Plus with 256GB storage space fell from $138to $80, while the iPhone 6S Plus fell from an already low $38 to just $24.

SellCell recommends that users sell iPhone 8 series and iPhone X models as soon as possible, and the closer they get to the official release of iOS 17, the more serious the drop will be.
