One of the most noteworthy is that this update solves some problems of unlocking fingerprints on Pixel phones that are unusable or unstable.

If you have joined the Android test program and have a compatible Pixel phone, you can check and download this update in the Settings menu. CTOnews.com notes that the update file size is only 66.80MB and the download speed is fast, but the installation process may take some time.

Google says the update mainly fixes the following two issues:

Fixed an unavailable or unreliable fingerprint unlock on some devices. (question number: 284360298, 284529436, 284436572)

Fixed platform compatibility issues that affected Map SDK, which caused some applications that relied on Map SDK to crash in some cases.

Google also reminds users that the update may not be immediately pushed to all devices and may take a week or so to fully cover. If you have not received the update notice, please wait patiently.
