CTOnews.com June 14 news, CIRP last month analyzed how many Android users turned to the iPhone camp, now gives the detailed data. The results show that Apple is better at attracting Android users to iPhone than Google at switching iPhone users to Android.

According to CIRP's latest report "Apple to Android and Android to Apple-Do People Really Switch?" released on Substack today. Between March 2022 and March 2023, approximately 15 per cent of new iPhone customers came from Android.

The report also shows that 14% of iPhone buyers in the United States in the past 12 months came from Android.

So how many new Android users have been transferred from the iPhone camp? The answer is 4%. This means that iPhone is more attractive to Android users in the United States than Android to Apple users.

CIRP data also show that Apple's customer loyalty exists, and Apple has a stronger ability to attract iPhone users to switch phones.

The data show that 94% of existing iPhone / iOS users choose to continue to use iPhone. CTOnews.com notes that Android loyalty is still high, but the percentage of Android users willing to stick to it has fallen by 3% to 91%, causing more users to turn to the iPhone camp.

CIRP stressed that both have impressive customer loyalty, "but there is only one winner in a two-horse race-and iPhone is more than one step ahead."
