According to CTOnews.com news on June 14, Wechat officially launched a new rule yesterday: goods priced at or below 30 yuan must be delivered free of charge, including Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas.

Tencent said that in order to "create a good environment for video accounts to carry goods, standardize the business behavior of merchants, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of users," the platform is now adjusting and issuing norms for low-cost goods.

Goods below 30 yuan (including) need to set up free delivery service (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, overseas and remote areas). This rule applies to all businesses that open video number stores, and takes effect for all open categories of video number stores.

Tencent also said that from now on to June 20, 2023, merchants are required to check the goods that have been put on the shelves in small stores, and if there are goods that are less than 30 yuan and are not set up for free delivery, they need to be modified; if the merchants do not make corrections within the specified time, the platform will be removed from the shelves in accordance with the illegal goods and cannot be resubmitted for review on the original link.

It is reported that the "video number shop freight insurance" is paid by the video number shop merchants, given to the video number shop users of the insurance. After the opening of freight insurance, when users return and exchange goods within the agreed period, they can get some compensation for freight losses. When the merchant takes out the return insurance for the first time, the insurance company determines the premium of each order according to the category of operating goods, which is currently divided into five categories, with premiums ranging from 0.34 to 1.12 yuan.
