CTOnews.com, June 13, according to Japan's Sankei Shimbun, Tokyo Governor Koike Yuriko announced today that all government departments in Tokyo will introduce generative AI represented by ChatGPT, and the plan will be fully implemented from August.

In April this year, the Tokyo metropolitan government set up a special project team to cope with the rapid development of generative AI around the world. Koike Yuriko stressed that the Tokyo metropolitan government has been studying the problems that may be encountered when introducing generative AI into daily work and the specific rules for its use.

Koike Yuriko also revealed that the Tokyo metropolitan government is developing specific implementation guidelines, one of which is to create customized document query and question-and-answer services for visitors.
