CTOnews.com June 13, Hyundai (Hyundai) recently announced that it will form an automobile alliance with Samsung, SK and LG to develop more competitive electric vehicles by integrating their superior resources.

The source said that Samsung mainly provides semiconductor solutions for autopilot systems; SK mainly provides power battery solutions; and LG mainly provides products such as OLED information panels.

CTOnews.com Note: the newly formed alliance is expected to further expand its business. Samsung spends a lot of money every year on developing and producing automotive application processors, and Samsung Electro-Mechanics is currently investing more in developing multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) for electric vehicles.

A number of departments under LG will also participate in the operation of the alliance. LG Display supplies screens, LG Innotek supplies camera modules, LG Magna supplies powertrain, and LG Electronics is responsible for the car engine system.
