About 10 minutes later, the Shenzhou 16 manned spacecraft successfully separated from the rocket and entered the scheduled orbit. The astronauts were in good condition on board, and the launch was a complete success.

Since its launch on May 30, the China manned Space Engineering Office has paid close attention to the re-entry of the secondary wreckage of the rocket.

According to monitoring and analysis, at about 01:34 on June 13, 2023, the secondary wreckage of the long March 2 F Yao 16 carrier rocket re-entered the atmosphere, and the landing area was located in the sea area around longitude 130.6 °E and latitude 38.3 °N, and most of the devices were ablated and destroyed in the process of re-entry.

China's space station has now entered the stage of application and development. Chinese astronauts will stay in the space station continuously for a long time, usually twice a year for group rotation and 1-2 times of material replenishment.

At present, Shenzhou XVI astronauts have been stationed in the "Heavenly Palace." During their stay in orbit, the Shenzhou 16 astronaut crew will usher in the visit and docking of the Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft and plan to return to the Dongfeng landing site in November this year.

According to the basic introduction of the 2023 manned space mission released by the China manned Space Engineering Office, the Shenzhou 17 manned mission will be launched from the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center in October this year, and the flight crew is still composed of three astronauts. At that time, the two crew will be rotated in orbit.

At present, the Chinese space station has been completed in an all-round way, and the "three-step" development strategy of China's manned space project has become a reality. The space station assembly runs stably in orbit. According to the plan, 2023 is the first year that the Chinese space station has moved into the stage of application and development, with plans to launch two manned spaceships, Shenzhou 16 and Shenzhou 17, and one cargo ship, Tianzhou 6.
