CTOnews.com, June 12 (Xinhua)-- Swedish airbag maker Autoliv has launched an airbag for motorcycles, hoping to ease the impact of crashes and reduce the risk of injury.

Autoliv said the airbag system is small and compatible with a variety of motorcycles.

Autoliv believes that in extreme cases, the airbag can also serve as a buffer between the driver and the object being hit, preventing the driver from being directly injured by the collision.
