Recently, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Technology Cooperation Development Forum, jointly sponsored by the China Institute of Information and Communications and the Karamay Municipal people's Government, was held in Karamay, Xinjiang. The Forum announced the "China-SCO National Digital Cooperation case", including 37 projects including Digital Dunhuang, Lan Mei Cloud Computing Innovation Center, and Pakistan Intelligent Distribution Center built by Cainiao and Daraz. Among them, Cainiao is the only Chinese logistics company selected this time.

It is understood that in order to fully demonstrate the achievements of actively carrying out cooperation in the field of digital technology between China and SCO countries, further promote the sharing of experience in the field of digital technology among SCO countries, and tap the demand for cooperation, since February this year, the big data Cooperation Center of the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization has openly solicited "cases of digital cooperation between China and SCO countries." After extensive solicitation and screening, a total of 37 projects were selected and compiled into the "China-SCO National Digital Cooperation case Collection (2023)".

The 37 projects shortlisted for this selection are quite representative. Taking the Pakistan Intelligent Distribution Center built by Cainiao Logistics Technology and Daraz as an example, as the only selected case in the logistics industry, this project is not only the first fully automatic logistics sorting center in Pakistan, but also the first deeply integrated intelligent project for Cainiao logistics technology to deliver overseas. Core equipment such as cross-belt sorting machine independently designed and developed by Cainiao Logistics Technology and certified by EU CE, PLC with independent intellectual property rights and related electronic control solutions, and "Yunbian one" WCS warehouse control system are all applied in this project. After the launch of the project, compared with the previous manual sorting mode, the efficiency of automated sorting has been increased by four times, and the missorting rate of parcels has dropped from 1% to less than 3/10000.

Logistics technology from China has been recognized by Pakistani partners. Next, Cainiao logistics technology will speed up the pace of going out to sea, and will deliver mature and leading logistics technology to more overseas partners to help them quickly establish differentiation advantages in the competition and improve logistics efficiency.
